Professional Project
Husson University · UGRD · Fall 2026
Catalog description
This course will provide the student with a mid-level experiential learning opportunity. Active participation in actual projects is required and community service activities are welcome. Each student will find, will choose, or will be provided with a program coordinator. The project chosen will be based upon; (1) an interview conducted by the program coordinator, (2) the acceptance by the program coordinator, and (3) the student’s project preference. The program coordinator will have the final decision on all professional projects. The coordinator’s decision will be based on his/her interaction with the student during previous coursework and his/her understanding of the requirements of the student and the scope of the professional project. Every consideration will be given to the student’s personal preferences about the project’s scope of work. Coordinator check-ins begin within the first week of the semester. Prerequisite - Completion of 75 hours of undergraduate course credit.
