Sonography OB/Gyn Clinic I

Catalog description

In this course, students will scan the female pelvis and obstetric patient in a hospital or clinic setting. Students will learn how to produce and interpret normal sonograms of each area. If a student’s clinical performance is unsatisfactory or if at any time the student’s clinical performance compromises the safety of the patient, the student will be terminated from the clinical portion of the program. OPEN ONLY to matricualted Diagnostic Medical Sonography students. Pre- or co- requisite(s): SONO 262 Sonography Physics
