This course is a survey of psychological theory and research in the patient-provider relationship and communication, the biopsychosocial aspects of pain management, the psychosocial aspects of specific illnesses such as cancer, heart disease, diabetes, and HIV/AIDS and the improvement of health care delivery. Pre-requisite(s): PSYC 100 General Psychology .
