Pre-Professional Mortuary Seminar

Catalog description

This seminar focuses on the skills necessary to find and obtain an internship placement and pass the National Board Examination. Students learn about employment strategies, job searches and interviewing skills. Students will prepare a professional portfolio, a resume, a letter of interest and complete a reflective paper assessing their own professional preparedness. Students will practice test taking strategies and utilize review materials provided by the NCE Board in preparation for the board exam. OPEN ONLY Open only to graduating senior Mortuary Science students or by permission of the instructor.
