Catalog description

Kinematics and dynamics as related to industrial machinery. Theory will be applied during the laboratory. The creation, design, and analysis of shafts, gears, brakes, couplings, bearings, springs and keys. Computer programs will be used to check designs. Pre-requisite(s): MECT 125 Statics and Dynamics and MECT 225 Strength of Materials .
