Statistical Quality and Process Control

Catalog description

This course will provide an overview of topics in quality and process control, including problem solving techniques, statistical method and quality management practices. Topics covered include Total Quality Management (TQM) principles, ISO 9000, Failure Mode Effects and Analysis (FMEA), cause and effect analysis, statistical methods including histograms, distributions, measures of dispersion, probability, and the application and use of control charts. Pre-requisite(s): MATH 150 College Algebra with Trigonometry .
