Catalog description

This course runs concurrently with Principles of Invasive Cardiovascular Technology I. The student is scheduled in clinical at the affiliate hospitals in the cardiac catheterization lab for three days each week for the entire 16- week semester. Competency must be demonstrated for each skill for successful completion of the course. OPEN ONLY Open only to matriculated Invasive Cardiovascular Technology students. Pre-requisite(s): RESP 101 Basic Interpretation and Performance of The Electrocardiogram with a final grade of “C” or better; American Heart Association Basic Life Support, Course C for Health Care Providers. Co-requisite(s): ICVT 210 Principles of Invasive Cardiovascular Technology I .
