Advanced French Conversation and Composition

Catalog description

Designed for students who have an intermediate to advanced knowledge of French, this course aims at refining students’ conversational and writing skills. Classroom discussions, conducted in French, are supplemented by films, readings, poetry, and podcasts. Students will engage in debates and role-playing in French and will write essays and give presentations in French. Classroom instruction is supplemented with exercises in the language laboratory. Pre-requisite(s): Course designed for students who have completed French IV or who have obtained permission from the Department Chairperson.
