Catalog description

This course is designed to expand the student’s knowledge of industrial motor control. Students will study the construction, operation, maintenance, and applications of the pilot devices used in control systems and the fundamentals of variable frequency drives and programmable logic controllers. OPEN ONLY Open only to matriculated Electrical Construction and Maintenance students. Pre-requisite(s): ECMN 203 Transformers and Motors or ECMN 190 Electric Power Systems . Co-requisite(s): ECMN 214 Industrial Motor Control Laboratory .
