This is an in-depth study of the pathologies related to the heart, their physiological symptoms and outcomes, and their sonographic appearance. An in-depth study of each anatomical aspect of the heart and its correlative disease processes will be covered. Case reviews and diagnostic interpretations will help students to understand this intricate organ and the pathologies associated with it. OPEN ONLY Open only to matriculated Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography and Invasive Cardiovascular Technology students. Pre-requisite(s): ECHO 254 Echocardiography I and ECHO 256 Anatomy and Physiology of The Heart .
