Catalog description
This course provides an overview of forensic psychology and its integration within the framework of the criminal justice system. This course will focus on the three foundational elements of the criminal justice system, police, courts, and corrections. This course will address topics specific to a systems-oriented approach to forensic psychology, including testimony, crisis-response teams, interrogation, and correctional services. Pre-requisite(s): CRJS 101 Introduction to Criminal Justice or CRJS 103 Honors Introduction to Criminal Justice. Pre- or co- requisite(s): ENGL 102 English Composition II .
