Catalog description

This course discusses structural steel design theory and principles necessary for design of simple steel structures, design and analysis of beams, columns, tension members, beam-columns and bolted and welded connections. A simple steel frame is designed for a project. Pre-requisite(s): CIVL 112 Statics and Strength of Materials with a grade of “C” or higher.
