Catalog description

This course builds upon topics covered in Digital Constructs and Visualization I. The focus will be on producing and communicating architectural ideas through mixed media. Students will use digital methodologies through all phases of a project and will experiment with different 3D printing techniques, including industrial, PLA and SLS 3D printing. Students will gain an understanding of how to take a digital sketch and model it into different iterations to tell a story. The tools learned in CIVL 206 will aid the skills students further develop in CIVL 220 , Architectural Design III. This class will be offered in the fall of sophomore year. Pre-requisite(s): CIVL 106 Digital Constructs and Visualization I
