Catalog description

This course teaches students the essential concepts of BIM and the basic technical skills to create and manipulate a BIM model. Those skills include how to retrieve information from a BIM model and how to use common modeling tools. Students will learn how to construct a working 3d model with the use of steel and concrete structures, HVAC and plumbing systems and topography. A basic understanding of how BIM works between different professional disciplines will also be covered.
