Catalog description
This course is an introduction to the principles, concepts, and analytical methods of genetics. Evidence of how genes are inherited and expressed is drawn from classical and molecular studies on plants, animals, microbes, and humans. This course is recommended for students planning careers in biology or advanced professional health. Pre-requisite(s): BIOL 150 General Biology I or BIOL 190 Biology I ; BIOL 151 General Biology II or BIOL 191 Biology II ; CHEM 110 General Chemistry I ; CHEM 111 General Chemistry II .
