Catalog description
This course will enable students to understand how and why the signs and symptoms of various heart conditions appear. Study of the mechanisms of underlying heart diseases is covered to serve as a bridge between the basic sciences and clinical application in the field of cardiovascular technology. Pre-requisite(s): ECHO 256 Anatomy and Physiology of The Heart with a final grade of “C” or better or permission of the department chair.
