Catalog description

This course will discuss general statistical methods used in the collection, presentation, analysis and interpretation of statistical data, which includes measures of central tendency; dispersion and skewness; probability theory; probability distributions (discrete and continuous); hypothesis testing, including “t” and “z” distributions; chi-square analysis, and regression analysis, correlation and ANOVA. Students will work together on a case study in which they will apply all of the steps of the statistical analysis process. At the end of the semester, students will present their findings to the class. OPEN ONLY Open only to students enrolled in the Business- Business Administration Honors Track.
