Motors and Controls

Catalog description

This course is intended to provide an in-depth study of the various motors utilized in hybrid and electric drive vehicles. The operation, testing and repair of these motors and their associated electronic controls as associated with automobiles and light trucks will be the focus of study. Pre-requisite(s): AUTO 125 Automotive Electricity and MATH 105 Applied Technical Mathematics I Pre- or co- requisite(s): AUTO 280 Electric and Hybrid Vehicles and CISS 100 Introduction to Computing and Information Sciences
