Catalog description

This course requires students to do research or directed study in the art, techniques, theological content, and contribution of the sermons of outstanding African American preachers, noting especially those of the AME Zion communion. The requirements of t he course include a bibliography of no fewer than 20 primary sources and a 2,000-word essay on preaching in the life of the African American Church. Pre-requisite PTH 103. 96
