Section information text: EMS 1117 – Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). This course includes responsibilities of the EMT during each phase of an ambulance run, patient assessment, emergency medical conditions, appropriate emergency care, and appropriate procedures for transporting patients. Four hours lecture. Four hours laboratory. Three hours clinical. Seven hours credit.
