Section information text: BIO 1813 – Medical Terminology for Health Professions. This course is an introduction to medical language used in health professions. Emphasis is placed on learning medical root words, prefixes, and suffixes and applying them to the human body systems in written and verbal communication. Three hours lecture. Three hours credit.
