Catalog description

This course consists of the study of properties ofthe hair and scalp; principles of hair design;shampooing, rinsing and conditioning; haircutting;hairstyling; braiding and braid extensions; wigsand hair enhancements; chemical texture services;and hair coloring. Included are classroom theoryand lab practice as governed by Mississippicosmetology laws, rules and regulations involvedin cosmetology practices and safety precautionsassociated with each.
