Catalog description

Study of the basic principles and managerialfunctions of organizations management withspecial emphasis on planning, organizing,coordinating, commanding, and controlling. Theimportance of managing competitively andintelligently within a diverse environment isstressed. Situational cases are completed toreinforce decision-making in each of the functionareas. The course will also consist of a seriesof "mini" presentation related to each of thetopics, delivered by different types of businessmanagers and guest speakers.
