Catalog description

Clinical Procedures I is a beginning course that focuses on the theory and basic skills required in the ambulatory care setting including OSHA guidelines, HIPAA compliance, professionalism, applying principles of aseptic technique and infection control, obtaining and recording of health history, preparation and assisting for physical assessment, procedures and treatment, along with client instruction and education on nutrition related health care needs.
