Catalog description

This course is designed for students who wish to further develop news writing skills. It is a continuation of News Reporting, though emphasis will be on editing and re-writing news stories. Emphasis will be on fact checking, editing, principles, and AP guidelines, though journalistic ethics, effective research, publishing in print and online, using social media as a journalistic tool, and photo editing will also be covered.
