A survey of the United States history from 1865-1945. Topics include Reconstruction and the rise of segregation, the closing of the frontier, industrialization, urbanization, and immigration; American imperialism; the Populist and Progressive movements; the New Era of the 1920s; the Great Depression and the New Deal; and the U.S. involvement in the two World Wars.
