Classification, growth, reproduction, and utilization of crops are studied in this course. Students learn to identify crops, weeds, and insect pests. Environmental, physiological, and nutritional factors affecting plant growth are explored. Plant-soil relationships, crop scouting procedures, and current crop research are introduced.
