Catalog description
This course provides a supervised field experience in early intervention with a focus on applied professional competencies, family-centered practice, caregiver coaching, documentation, and collaboration with families and interdisciplinary teams. Students complete 60 hours of observation across two early intervention providers in their local area and arrange observation times on their own schedule while meeting course deadlines. The course also includes an action research project tied to field-based practice.
