Catalog description

This course will center on the historical and current operation of gender in the law and society. This course will uncover the social, psychological, political and economic effects of gender implications in the law on individuals and groups. Using sociological, historical and legal methods and theories, the course will uncover the impact of gender, and the intersections of gender with race and class.
