Catalog description

The course covers the psychology of crime, crime solving, and court processes; examines causes, classification, prevention, intervention, and treatment of criminal behavior from a social psychological perspective, as well as applications of psychology in criminal investigation and in the courtroom. Topics may include con artists, street crime, domestic violence, financial crimes, sex crimes, stalkers, serial killers, lie detection, eyewitness memory, insanity defense, and more.
