Emphasizing non-Western cultures, this course assists student exploration and analysis of the influence of culture on health beliefs, attitudes, values, health norms, and practices. Examines how providers from various cultures differ in their approach to healthcare and how assessment and intervention techniques apply to specific cultural groups. Meets the university requirement of a Non-Western Cultures course.
