A study of investment instruments in the context of planning and constructing a portfolio to achieve investor goals. Topics include equities, fixed-income securities, derivatives, currencies, behavioral finance, portfolio management, and ethics and professional standards. Practical application is achieved through simulations and the management of the Ross Whipple Student Managed Investment Fund.
