Catalog description

This is an introductory course in human anatomy and physiology. This course includes the study of structure and function of cells, tissues, and the integumentary, skeletal, muscular, and nervous systems, the study of the endocrine, cardiovascular, lymphatic/immune, respiratory, digestive, urinary, and reproductive systems. Introduces common human disease and injury processes. This course will prepare students to plan, implement, demonstrate and evaluate these activities across grade levels K-12 and the Health and Human Performance professions. Prerequisite: BIOL 10043 and BIOL 10031 Introduction to Biology & Lab
