Catalog description

Focuses on critical thinking and problem solving. The course further develops student strategies and techniques for composing research-based texts. This course emphasizes effective and ethical rhetorical inquiry, including primary and secondary research methods; evaluation, synthesis, and documentation of information sources from a variety of genres; and critical thinking about proposing, evaluating, and substantiating claims, evidence, and conclusions. Prerequisite: ENGL 10103 with a “C” or better.
