Catalog description

The purpose of this course is to introduce candidates to effective curricula and instructional methods for literacy instruction with an emphasis on writing instruction. Candidates will focus on strategies for teaching the Arkansas English Language Arts State Standards. Candidates will practice developing and implementing lessons and unit plans and reflecting on teaching experiences. Significant field experiences will be required for this course in combination with the other content methods courses. Prerequisites: Admission to TEP, READ 30903, READ 31003.
