Field Experience I

Catalog description

This course will focus on preparing education professionals to better understand the characteristics of a highly effective teacher by investigating topics that may include multiculturalism, English as a Second Language, parenting, infusing technology and teaming. The content-focused observation component (at least two classroom observations) will be based upon the national content standards as well as Charlotte Danielson’s Framework for Teaching/TESS. Collection of content portfolio artifacts will be emphasized. Only MAT candidates may enroll.
