Catalog description

A 16-week experience in a B-K setting, during which candidates are exposed to a full range of disabilities and grade levels across birth through kindergarten. Knowledge of content is assessed by an early childhood/special education university supervisor and an experienced early childhood/special education teacher. An Impact on Student Learning Project is assessed based upon the state content standards. Together with Clinical Internship a total of four assessments will take place with corrective feedback shared in a post-observation conference. The appropriate Praxis PLT exam must be passed in order to receive credit for the course. Co-requisite: EDE 4626 (ECED 46106).
