Sex Counseling This course will consist of an exploration of the psychological, physiological, social, familial, and existential components of human sexuality. Specific attention will be given the following subjects: Sexual attitudes, beliefs, behaviors, dysfunctions, deviations, and counseling; AIDS, incest, sexual abuse and other deviations; gender and sex; and human sexuality in different cultures. The course will be adapted to the needs of students or professionals in educational, counseling, mental health, social, and family agencies. An integration of individual, marital, family, and sex counseling approaches will be presented. Particular attention will be paid to the ethics of sex counseling.
