Catalog description
A survey of the types and objectives of the various standardized tests used in the public-school setting: achievement, mental abilities, aptitude, interest and self-appraisal instruments. Included in the course will be basic statistics necessary for the elementary understanding and interpretation of test data. Methods of study will include use of class lecture, research, films, and experience with test-taking and interpretation.
