Catalog description

A study of the chemistry of carbon-based compounds. Topics covered include bonding, 3-D molecular structure, and mechanisms of functional group reactions. Hydrocarbons, organic halides, alcohols, and ethers are studied. Three (3) hours lecture. Prerequisite: CHM 1024 (CHEM 14204).
