A basic course in designing materials for publication including selecting and creating graphics and designing and laying out the page. The use of paper, color, and type to maximize eye appeal and readability for the user will be emphasized. The course consists of theory and practical application. Spring only. Prerequisite: Keyboarding proficiency strongly recommended.
