Introduction to Women's Studies

Catalog description

An intensive and critical examination of the nature and function of women in society from an interdisciplinary perspective. The course may concentrate on specific disciplinary approaches to issues critical to women. Areas such as historical examination of the construction of women in society, feminist political philosophy, women in the arts, literature, science, law, medicine and the family may be covered.
