Welding Capstone

Catalog description

This course assesses the cumulative skills the student has acquired in the following processes and categories: Welding/Cutting Safety, Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Joint Preparation, Edge Preparation, Blueprint Reading, Precision Measuring/Gauging, Destructive/Non-Destructive Testing, and overall Work-Readiness. Entry-level skills and abilities will be further critiqued to ensure students are prepared to directly enter the workforce.
