Catalog description

Examines the sociological study of the origins, causes, and control of deviance and deviant behavior. Considers deviance through various theoretical perspectives. Emphasis is placed on individual and group deviance, resulting from societal norms and values. Areas to be covered include drug use, sexual deviance, criminal behavior, marginal deviance, and career deviance.
