Pathophysiology in the Cross Section

Catalog description

This course will provide the basics of gross anatomical structures identified in the transverse axial, coronal, sagittal and orthogonal (oblique) planes using CT, MRI and ultrasound images (when applicable) and related illustrations. The study of gross anatomical structures will be conducted systematically for location, relationship to other structures and function. Coverage of common diseases or traumatic process is examined from its description, etiology, associated symptoms, and diagnosis with appearance on CT. Terminology associated with pathologic disease will be included.
