Catalog description

Integrating the information covered in RAD 134, this course addresses the image properties of brightness, contrast, spatial resolution, distortion and all factors affecting these characteristics. Adjusting technical factors to stay within acceptable exposure index and minimizing patient exposure, which includes changes in kVp, mAs, SID, relative system speed, generator type, grids, and FOV. Digital image processing, AEC, APR, technique chart development, fluoroscopy, emerging imaging technologies are included.
