Catalog description

Why do we behave, think, and feel the ways that we do? This course provides a detailed examination of psychology’s most influential personality theories. Theories will include but are not restricted to the trait, biological, psychoanalytic, social-behavioral, cognitive, and humanistic perspectives. Emphasis will be placed on both the history and current applications of the theory as well as scientific evidence that supports them. Personality processes and mental health will also be included in this exploration of personality.
