Catalog description

This course examines the physical, cognitive, and social changes experienced during adolescence. Topics include the stresses associated with adolescence, identity development, media influences, the changing relationships with family and friends, love and sexuality, risky behavior participation, suicide, and delinquency. Emphasis is placed on current issues and cultural variations of these experiences.
