Catalog description

This course is designed for students who want to develop their skills in doing activism. Course materials, class discussions, guest speakers, educational excursions, and designing and implementing individual, semester-long projects will develop students’ personal philosophies regarding social justice and enhance their abilities to analyze issues and engage in political activism. This course will be cross-listed as COMM 250.
