Catalog description

This course is for students who are interested in mastering fundamental, vendor-independent cloud computing concepts. No previous cloud computing experience is necessary to begin learning from this course, although knowledge of basic computer, networking, and security principles is helpful. Students will learn the appropriate steps to ensure business continuity and appropriate maintenance automation techniques to target objects. Analyze sizing, subnetting and basic routing for the deployment of a virtual network. Apply elements required to extend the infrastructure into a cloud solution and determine the appropriate allocation of cloud resources. The course includes activities, hands-on lab work, and a wide array of assessment types and tools.
